I don't think she lacks power, she just lacks motive. Attempting to artificially generate an emotional stimulus could have unpredictable results though. I was considering just leaving her. She'll figure it out herself.

We don't undertake costly surgical procedures on the basis of "might work". She's plenty powerful. If anything her, and our, problem will be controlling her power.
